Who I am

PGSEO is the trading name of Paul Gordon, a freelance SEO consultant based in Leicester, United Kingdom. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, email me at paul@pgseo.co.uk.

What I collect and why

Contact form — your name, email address, website URL, message and (optionally) a budget range. I use these solely to reply to your enquiry and arrange the call you’ve requested. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.

Technical data — your IP address is processed briefly for spam and abuse prevention (the contact form is rate-limited), along with standard server logs. Lawful basis: my legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.

Who handles the data

Messages from the forms are delivered by Resend, an email delivery provider, and the site is hosted on Railway. Site usage is measured with Google Analytics, provided by Google. Enquiries are also logged in monday.com, which I use to manage and respond to them. These providers process data on my behalf, and some processing may take place outside the UK or EEA under appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Cookies

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how it’s used — which pages people visit and how they arrive. GA4 sets cookies to do this. I look at the data in aggregate and don’t use it to identify you.

How long I keep it

Enquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows. You can ask me to delete them at any time.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, or object to processing. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk — though I’d appreciate the chance to put things right first.
